September 26th 1997 Carol Smith covered in blood would stumble into a gas station asking for help. Carl was be able to tell investigators he’d been attacked by at least two men before he slipped out of consciousness. Unfortunately, Carl would pass away from his injuries the following day without ever gaining consciousness again. 25 years later and his case is still unsolved.
